Vehicle Graphics
The winner is T2 Design for Brookwood
Designer: Eric Turmel
Manufacturer/Fabricator: T2 Design
Submitter: Eric Turmel
Client: Patrice Lussier
Location: Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, Que.
Primary Materials & Methods: When a classic car enthusiast contacted them with his vision, the graphic team was thrilled. The client wanted to customize his old Chevrolet Brookwood with a full wrap—not just a colour change, but to give it a sun-drenched California paint look with a weathered effect. This project posed a significant challenge in both graphics and installation. The graphic team conducted extensive research and testing to achieve a realistic result. Each piece was uniquely adapted with wear and rust effects, making them one-of-a-kind. More than 45 hours of graphic design were required for this project.
In terms of installation, the classic curves of the 1960s and various embossings significantly increased the difficulty. Everything had to be double-checked before installing each piece. To ensure the rust streak illusion was credible around handles, the antenna, and trim, precise adjustments and placement of the printed material were essential.
