HP_Indigo_10000[1]HP Canada has released the Indigo 10000, which it calls the first offset-quality digital press in a ‘B2’ size format, allowing it to produce posters and other small signs.

The Indigo 10000 is designed to help high-volume commercial print service providers (PSPs) transition more of their work from offset to digital printing. It can reportedly print up to 3,450 four-colour B2 sheets per hour in standard production mode and 4,600 sheets per hour in enhanced productivity mode. In addition to poster-size signage, it can produce die-cut folders, brochures and coffee-table books.

The electrophotographic press’ output is compatible with standard finishing equipment found in offset shops, along with newer digital finishing systems.
