[1]Bullet Autographics in Belleville, Ont., has installed a Designjet L25500 printer from HP Canada to help improve quality of output and speed of turnarounds.
“It requires less maintenance and is much more consistent than other machines we’ve worked with,” says Chris Sanders, the company’s president. “Our team can turn products around faster and the quality of our vehicle wrap printing has improved.”
Sanders founded Bullet Autographics in 1994. Since then, it has designed and fabricated a wide range of indoor and outdoor signage, including logos, free-standing pylons, formed letters, backlit signs and banners, but its primary specialties are vehicle wraps and fleet lettering. The company prints and installs graphics not only for cars, trucks and recreational vehicles (RVs), but also boats and planes.
“The L25500’s water-based ‘latex’ inks stretch very well on vehicle wrap material, without losing any colour,” Sanders says. “The accuracy of ink levels gives us the confidence to print a roll overnight.”
