WandaNEXT restroom monitoring system provides real-time data, which helps facility maintenance teams to improve efficiency and enhance customer experience.
Global sourcing and distribution company Bunzl Canada recently announced the installation of its Internet of Things (IoT)-based restroom monitoring system, WandaNEXT, at two grocery stores in the greater Toronto area (GTA).
“First-to-market innovations that help maximize operational efficiencies and improve customer experience are a strategic imperative for forward-thinking grocery and retail industries,” said the company’s president John Howlett. “As a national distribution business, we continue to source innovative technologies that benefit businesses and build competitive advantage for customers.”
The smart technology solution features a touchscreen interface, which tracks cleaning, maintenance, and supplies in restrooms. This real time-data enables facility maintenance teams to optimize resource allocation and improve efficiency in retail, healthcare, airports, conference centres, and commercial environments.
“WandaNEXT is an easy-to-use technology, which not only improves customer experience, but also optimizes labour and supply management, and that can lead to reduced costs,” said the company’s marketing and communications vice-president Margo Hunnisett. “We anticipate a continually increasing demand for this product as customer-centric businesses strive to maximize efficiency while delivering an unrivalled store experience on each customer visit.”
