Codiac Transpo, which operates buses in Moncton, N.B., has awarded the advertising rights on its vehicles for the next three years—with two further one-year renewal options—to Pattison Outdoor Advertising.
The contract, which came into effect in October, covers all advertising opportunities on and inside the 32 buses in Codiac’s fleet, including ‘king’ posters on the exterior sides, interior cards, 0.5 x 1.8-m (21 x 70-in.) rear exterior posters and specialty vinyl extensions, headliners, murals and full bus wraps (earlier example pictured).
“Pattison has had a contract with us for bus shelter advertising for a number of years,” explains John Allain, general manager of Moncton’s department of public transit, which operates under the Codiac name. “We are very pleased to extend this relationship to support our interior and exterior bus advertising.”
“We look forward to providing clients in Greater Moncton with a ‘one-stop shop’ for all of their outdoor advertising needs,” says Sherry Kirwin, Pattison Outdoor’s general manager for the Atlantic provinces, “whether they are booking horizontal posters, exterior digital billboards, transit shelters or interior and exterior transit ads.”
With this addition, Pattison’s transit advertising portfolio now comprises 20 markets across Canada. Others include Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Ottawa and Halifax.
