Canada 150 commemorated with custom manhole cover

[1]Bibby LaPerle, a division of Canada Pipe, has joined the celebrations of Canada’s 150^th anniversary by producing a commemorative sesquicentennial manhole cover at its foundry in Ste. Croix, Que.

The 95-year-old company produces cast-iron soil pipe and fittings used in drain, waste and vent (DWV) plumbing systems, with the Ste. Croix foundry dedicated to street castings, manhole frames and covers.

“Bibby LaPerle is proud to create a commemorative product that will be used in many cities in Eastern Canada,” says Tom Leonard, president. “This cover, featuring the 150^th anniversary logo, will be seen by thousands of Canadians and visitors this year.”
