Canada’s TLC wins European awards for Middle East graphics

handball3The Look Company (TLC), based in Innisfil, Ont., has received three 2016 Federation of European Screen Printers Associations (FESPA) awards honouring its branded graphics for the 2015 World Men’s Handball Championship in Doha, Qatar.

TLC was commissioned by the local organizing committee in 2014 to wrap stadium venues (examples pictured) and develop a street banner program for the following year. It marked the first time the championship was held in a single city and helped show Doha could host a world-class sports event.

The graphics won a bronze award for decals, printed labels and fleet marking, took gold for roll-to-roll printed textiles and were named ‘best in show’ at FESPA’s annual gala dinner on March 9 in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
