Lorne Sugarman, CEO of Toronto-based Wellpoint Health, will join the board of directors for NanoLumens, which manufactures light, thin and flexible light-emitting diode (LED) digital displays, upon the closing of its initial public offering (IPO).
“Lorne is well-known and respected for his experience in corporate finance transactions, including mergers, acquisitions and public and private financings,” says Rick Cope, Nanolumens’ founder and CEO. “He is a highly regarded corporate leader who will help us continue to grow our business.”
NanoLumens, based in Atlanta, Ga., filed this past summer with the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) for the IPO of its common shares. Completion is subject to the receipt of regulatory and other approvals.
