Ultraflex Systems has introduced its 397-g (14-oz) DSS Pro Blockout material for opaque hanging banners, trade show graphics, point-of-purchase (POP) displays, banner stands and event graphics.

The material is smooth and printable on both sides, has no visible scrim pattern and is engineered to prevent curling. Available in widths from 1 to 2 m (39 to 80 in.) and standard lengths of 50 and 229 m (164 and 750 ft), it is reportedly compatible with most banner stands (example pictured).

DSS Pro is printable with solvent, eco-solvent, ultraviolet-curing (UV-curing) and screenprinting systems. Testing is underway with ‘latex’ durable aqueous inkjet printing.
