Carte Blanche OOH competition returns

CB vancouver 2014[1]Montreal-based Astral Out-of-Home, a division of Bell Media, has launched its sixth annual Carte Blanche creative competition, which invites advertising agencies to develop new out-of-home (OOH) campaign concepts for the client of their choice.

The competition is again open to agencies in Vancouver (past winner pictured), Toronto and Montreal, but is also being extended this year to Calgary and Edmonton.

“Fresh on the heels of our expansion into Alberta, including our acquisition of Macdonald Outdoor in Edmonton and launch of new ‘canvasses’ in Calgary, we are thrilled to expand Carte Blanche to these markets,” says Lucy Collin, vice-president (VP) of marketing and innovation for Bell Media’s sales in English Canada.

The competition is free to enter at www.carteblancheforcreatives.com until April 21. After voting in April and jury deliberations in early May, winners will receive a trip to the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in June and see their concept turned into an Astral OOH campaign valued at $50,000.
