Digital printer/cutter manufacturer Roland DG has opened a new manufacturing facility in Bangkok, Thailand. It is Roland’s first production centre outside Japan and will focus on large-format inkjet printers. Given floods that have recently plagued the region, the factory was designed with a floor raised 1.8 m (6 ft) above ground level.
