Recently, wholesale trade printer SinaLite celebrated 21 years in business.
In fact, the company, headquartered in Markham, Ont., has now partnered with more than 10,000 companies. President Mike Meshkati and vice-president Brian Meshkati have seen the company grow over the years and attribute its success to their early roots in the industry along with the experienced employees that have contributed to the business.
In 1999, Meshkati’s parents, Oscar and Fara, opened the business with a small single-colour offset press in a 111.5-m2 (1200-sf) print shop. The couple worked hard producing flyers, pamphlets, NCR forms, and other products their clients needed.
Soon after, they were able to purchase a two-colour A.B. Dick, followed by a four-colour Heidelberg Speedmaster, and the company gained momentum.
Despite being one of the largest trade-only printers serving North America, the company is still a family-owned print business. SinaLite now prints at its 9290.3-m2 (100,000-sf) facility using state-of-the-art technology and equipment worth more than $20 million.
The company provides more than 1000 product options to print shops, print brokers, graphic designers, sign shops, and more. This year, SinaLite plans to launch a new apparel printing lineup, along with improved roll label printing capabilities.
