Digital signage provider Toshiba America Business Solutions (TABS) and retail technology integrator Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions have promoted Leon Roberge from vice-president (VP) of information technology (IT) to chief information officer (CIO).
In his new role, Roberge will be responsible for developing information security strategies, policies and standards, managing suppliers and vendors and mentoring staff for the two businesses, both of which operate under the Toshiba Tec umbrella. He has 16 years’ experience in senior IT roles with Toshiba.
“Leon has an exceptional ability to work collaboratively with our geographically diverse teams and address complex and nuanced IT challenges,” says president and CEO Scott Maccabe.
