Corning Glass CTO to keynote at DSE 2013

Dr. Peter L. Bocko, chief technology officer (CTO) for Corning Glass Technologies, will present the keynote address for the 10^th annual Digital Signage Expo (DSE) next year in Las Vegas, Nev.

Bocko joined Corning in 1979 and began working with liquid crystal displays (LCDs) in 1982. Now recognized as an expert in the industry, he will deliver a presentation titled ‘Looking Forward by Looking Back: A Futuristic Retrospective on the Trends in Display and Digital Signage.’ He will address key developments that have affected the design and commercialization of digital signage and will play a role in the future, including higher screen resolutions, interactivity, three-dimensional (3-D) content, transparent displays and audio.

“Peter’s firsthand participation in innovation qualifies him to identify future advancements and areas of opportunity for professionals in the industry,” says Richard Lebovitz, educational and editorial director of Exponation, which produces DSE.
