On July 1, following the recent launch of a major national membership recruitment campaign, the Canadian Printing Industries Association (CPIA) named Brian Ellis its new executive director.

The founder and president of Toronto-based Lucidity Marketing, Ellis previously held marketing roles with Fujifilm Canada’s graphic systems division and Heidelberg Canada. His association experience includes advising CPIA, directing the Ontario Printing and Imaging Association (OPIA) and sitting on the board of the Canadian Printing Industries Sector Council (CPISC).

Ellis takes the helm of CPIA as the organization highlights what it calls “a new value proposition,” including options for members to pay their dues monthly or annually and a renewed focus on print industry advocacy and federal legislative lobbying.
