crop2[1]Scott Powerline and Utility Equipment, which supplies boom trucks, bucket trucks and other sign and lighting installation equipment, announced it would add the new Tadano Mantis GTC-1200 teleboom crawler crane to its rental fleet in the Canadian market this fall.

The GTC-1200 was designed not only for Tadano Mantis’ core markets, including power transmission, bridge construction, civil engineering and foundation construction, but also markets using lift cranes. It features a round boom with two extension modules, Hello-Net telematics, hydraulic cylinders, winches and jib systems.

The load-sensing, power-controlled hydraulic system is designed to optimize hydraulic output to the diesel engine’s output for highly efficient operation and control. The swing system, meanwhile, is controlled by a separate closed-loop hydrostatic transmission.
