Digital billboard manufacturer Daktronics has partnered with Cadillac Fairview (CF) to install multiple light-emitting diode (LED) ad displays at seven shopping centres across Canada.
“We’re pleased to partner with Daktronics on the new digital installations across CF shopping centres in Canada,” said CF’s senior director of business growth and partnerships Jodi Clare. “Daktronics has been a true partner in our digital screen installations. Their expertise, creative thinking, and delivery have created a seamless process as we move from one property to another across the country.”
In total, 14 LED displays, featuring line spacings of 2.5, 4, 6, and 10 mm ( 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, and 0.4 in.) were installed across various locations for approximately 306.7m2 (3300 sf) of active digital space. Toronto locations include Eaton Centre, Fairview Mall, and Sherway Gardens. LED displays have also been installed at Markville (Markham, Ont.); Chinook Centre (Calgary, Alta.); Rideau Centre (Ottawa, Ont.), and Carrefour Laval (Laval, Que.).
“Working with a company like Cadillac Fairview whose values reflect those of our own company is a great experience,” said Daktronics sales representative Mike Novak. “The goal was to create digital marquees that enhance customer experience, bring value to advertisers, and keep the architectural integrity of each property. We leveraged both company’s strengths to achieve this, with Daktronics’s experience in image quality and Cadillac Fairview’s commitment to customer experience and overall esthetics.”
