Wide-format digital printer vendor Roland DGA has signed on as a promotional partner for Window Warriors, a new skill-based competition TV series that premiered on the Game Show Network (GSN) on Nov. 15.
In the series, Roland’s vinyl cutters and printers serve as key creative tools for window designers vying for a $100,000 U.S. grand prize. Inspired by the visual merchandising sector’s combination of art and commerce, contestants are challenged to design and create displays with a new theme each week and correlating with a partnered brand.
“We’re thrilled the producers chose our equipment,” says Andrew Oransky, president of Roland DGA. “These devices will help the competitors produce graphics on a variety of materials, incorporate gloss and white inks and produce dimensional and textural effects.”
