To help signmakers develop additional skills and build their business, Roland Academy is offering a large-format digital printing ‘boot camp’ next month.
The three-day, hands-on workshop will be held in Baltimore, Md. Under the guidance of digital printing expert David Goetter, it will focus on 10 core applications driving business today, including signage, floor graphics, backlit displays, window graphics, rigid displays and presentation boards, among others.
“This course has been popular among inkjet users, who gain new technical expertise, up-to-date market analysis and business management strategies they can implement immediately,” says Dana Curtis, product manager for printer/cutter vendor Roland DGA, of which Roland Academy is the education division. “It is an exciting, intensive training experience for professionals of all skill levels.”
Attendees will also learn troubleshooting techniques, waste-reduction strategies and how to evaluate their cost structure accurately.
Scheduled for April 10-12, the boot camp is offered to all Roland inkjet customers, including shop owners, managers, printer operators, graphic installers, production managers and sales representatives. Further details are available at www.rolanddga.com/training/workshops[2].
