Groupe Viva, based in Boisbriand, Que., and Pinpoint Media Group, based in Toronto, have entered a new partnership for commercial representation of display advertising throughout Couche-Tard and Mac’s convenience stores.
The agreement includes exclusive Quebec-wide representation across the Couche-Tard digital display network, which comprises 1,400 screens in more than 550 stores. It also covers all available ad inventory in stores operating elsewhere in Canada under the Mac’s name.
“It was important for us to establish a partnership with a dominant player in the Quebec market, to get the most out of our investment in the Couche-Tard network,” explains Enmanuel Rumbos, president of Pinpoint Media Group, which focuses exclusively on convenience stores and gas stations.
“We are very happy with our partnership,” says Pierre Gendron, CEO of Groupe Viva. “The addition of the Couche-Tard network considerably boosts our media offer, which already includes digital ad inventory in other retail chains.”
The digital display screens are located near the convenience stores’ cash registers and refrigerators.
