NEC Display Solutions recently donated more than 2,000 commercial-grade displays, including video walls and touch screens, to Mercy Ships, an international volunteer organization that offers free health care on hospital ships to people in the developing world.
The displays include digital signage in common areas for communications and informational purposes, desktop displays in doctors’ offices and labs for research, interactive displays in conference rooms for team collaboration and high-resolution screens in waiting areas for patients.
“With this partnership, we are helping Mercy Ships achieve its goals of bringing hope and healing to those who need it most,” says Richard Ventura, NEC’s vice-president (VP) of strategy.
