[1]The Digital Place-based Advertising Association (DPAA) has elected Jose Avalos, director of chipmaker Intel’s worldwide retail and digital signage business, to its board of directors, where he will share insights about trends and innovations.
“Jose’s knowledge of digital place-based technology deployment will play a pivotal role in guiding us as we develop ways for advertisers to interact with consumers in a ‘video everywhere’ world,” says Barry Frey, DPAA’s president and CEO.
“We look forward to working with Jose,” says Montreal-based out-of-home (OOH) ad firm Zoom Media chair and chief coaching officer François de Gaspé Beaubien, who leads DPAA’s board. “As a 27-year veteran of Intel, he has a superb perspective of the evolution of technology and advertising.”
“I am honoured to join DPAA to help address the challenges of monitoring, managing, measuring, analyzing and optimizing the digital experience,” says Avalos.
