Toronto-based software provider Dot2Dot Communications and exhibitry fabricator Tag in Mississauga, Ont., have integrated digital signage in a new ‘mobile showroom’ for Ottawa-based Nortec Humidity.
Housed within an 8.5-m (28-ft) long trailer, the Nortec Roadshow features a 1.4-m (55-in.) liquid crystal display (LCD) and four 0.6-m (22-in.) touch screens, all using the Scala digital signage software platform, for which Dot2Dot is the Canadian master distributor.
The larger screen showcases real-world installations of Nortec’s humidification and evaporative cooling products in a three-dimensional (3-D) city, including applications in data centres, hospitals, hot yoga studios, libraries, manufacturing facilities and schools. The touch screens are designed to share further information with the showroom’s visitors.
“This is a perfect example of how digital signage can showcase products in an advanced, dynamic environment, providing an interactive and educational experience to users,” says Angelo DeLuca, Dot2Dot’s director of sales.
