Dot2Dot Communications has entered an agreement to manage the Medical News Network (MNN’s) digital signs in medical clinics’ waiting rooms and pharmacies across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and Ottawa.

Launched three years ago by Appletree Medical Group, MNN broadcasts content and allows businesses to market their products and services. The hosted network already comprises 65 locations, with plans to reach 150 by the end of this year.

Toronto-based Dot2Dot is working with MNN’s team and using Scala’s Ad Manager and Content Manager software to schedule campaigns, manage inventory of media players, administer contacts and provide detailed ‘proof-of-play’ performance reports for advertisers.

“Having us manage the back end allows MNN to focus on the on-screen product,” says Andy McRae, Dot2Dot’s general manager.

“Through analytics provided by Dot2Dot and Scala, we can better understand customer demographics and the effect a message has had on viewers,” says Katrina Wroblewski, MNN’s operations manager. “We hope to continue to help businesses make the leap toward digital signage.”
