[1]Montreal-based Newad announced plans to double its inventory of portrait-mode digital advertising boards in Canada, with 2,000 installations by the end of 2014 expanding to 4,000 by the end of 2016.
Active primarily in Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Toronto, Montreal and Halifax, Newad’s network includes screens in bars, restaurants, schools and fitness centres, mostly installed in restrooms, targeting young and affluent consumers.
“By 2016, our investment will total $10 million earmarked for the technological development, custom manufacturing and installation of screens,” says Michael Reha, founder and CEO. “We are consolidating our position as a leader in digital signage in Canada.”
