Digital signage software CEO seeks rapid expansion

martinromanowskiSmartSign, which develops software for internal and external communications on screens and other devices, has appointed Martin Romanowski CEO as it ventures into regional and global expansion. He will assume the role at the turn of the year.

“The recruitment of a new CEO is the natural next step on the path of becoming established in more markets,” says Johan Peters, the current CEO, who will continue to serve in a business development position. “We have taken a targeted approach in our work with distributors and indirect sales since 2007. Our stable finances allow us to keep investing in new markets.”

Romanowski joins SmartSign from Smarteq AB, where he served as sales and marketing director. He has also worked with Sony and Tech Data.

“SmartSign will continue to expand, both geographically and in terms of personnel,” he says. “My role will be simply to accelerate that development.”
