Breazer Homes Portfolio copy[1]Beazer Homes, one of the largest homebuilders in the U.S., is using an interactive display system from Keywest Technology to help market its inventory of model homes in Florida. Given the nature of its business, it was important for the deployment to maintain a professional appearance and convey the homebuilder’s high standards.

Beazer Homes contracted the Keywest Creative graphic design team to create the content for its interactive digital signage system. Prospective home buyers can access floor plans, check out various options that can be added and browse the entire existing inventory. Additionally, Beazer encourages allied businesses—including title insurance providers and mortgage brokers—to buy advertising space on its digital signs, which helps generate revenue to offset the upfront and operating costs for the system.

Besides touch-screen capabilities, the system uses motion sensors to detect the presence of visitors and ramps the audio content up or down depending on their proximity. The closer they are, the louder the sound—and conversely, as they walk away, the sound levels are dropped to ensure a less intrusive ambiance.

The system also features an embedded video camera, both to monitor the security status of the system and surrounding property and to capture demographic information about the users.
