Following a conclusive testing period, Montreal-based Newad has introduced new vertical digital screens to university campuses across the country, covering what it calls the largest student network in Canada.
Many of the 1.8-m (70-in.) screens are already active, having run digital out-of-home (DOOH) advertising campaigns since the beginning of the 2016/2017 school year, including content from 20th Century Fox Films, Mountain Equipment Co-op and Rogers. The new platform is expected to bolster the performance of Newad’s existing campus poster network, which currently achieves more than 34 million impressions per week.
The new screens have been installed at the Universities of British Columbia, Alberta, Toronto, Ottawa and, in Quebec, McGill University and l’École de Technologie Supérieure (ETS), as well as at Toronto’s Humber College.
