CBS Outdoor Canada has been awarded the digital out-of-home (DOOH) media operating contract for RioCan Real Estate Investment Trust’s expanded and renovated Yonge Eglinton Centre complex in Toronto, effective August 1.
The redevelopment of the Yonge Eglinton Centre (rendering pictured above) includes the integration of 61 digital signs of various sizes. Inside the facility, 1.4-m (55-in.) and 1.8-m (70-in.) liquid crystal displays (LCDs) and 1.2 x 1.8-m (4 x 6-ft) video walls will be situated throughout shopping areas, a food court and a subway concourse. Outside, a pair of 4.3 x 14.6-m (14 x 48-ft) light-emitting diode (LED) boards will provide a dynamic backdrop to a new courtyard space.
Counting both pedestrian and vehicular traffic, advertising across these displays will reach an estimated daily audience of more than 125,000 people.
