The 2015 Digital Signage Expo (DSE), held earlier this month in Las Vegas, Nev., featured a full-day customer experience (CX) workshop presented by the Society for Experiential Graphic Design (SEGD), to help attendees create compelling and information-rich spaces.
Sponsored by the Image Manufacturing Group, Daktronics and Nanolumens, the workshop comprised a series of modules about CX, including one focusing on how best to integrate digital signage displays in retail environments to engage with customers.
“When design and technology come together, they produce new experiences,” says Clive Roux, CEO of SEGD. “That’s why DSE and SEGD are working to bring these communities closer together.”
“Our attendees are increasingly interested in integrating displays as part of the built environment,” says Richard Leibovitz, DSE’s educational director. “SEGD understands the importance of this trend to architects, who are charged with incorporating digital communications technologies into the physical spaces they are designing.”
