DSF announces first digital signage scavenger hunt in Toronto

holtfacadeThe Digital Signage Federation’s (DSF’s) Toronto regional council will host its first annual ‘digital scavenger hunt’ as part of a meet-and-greet business networking event at Yorkdale Shopping Centre on September 15.

“The concept is a fun way to challenge participants to track down a list of items throughout the mall, such as interactive digital signage, video walls, menu boards and product selectors,” says Telus Communications senior business development manager David Carbert, who is one of the regional council’s leaders and will lead the hunt starting at Moxie’s Grill and Bar at 6 p.m.

Timed to immediately precede the second annual DSRupted emerging technology conference at downtown Toronto’s Telus Conference Centre on September 16, the Yorkdale meet-and-greet is also intended to drive new memberships in DSF’s Toronto council. As such, both members and non-members are welcome.
