DSF awards scholarship to graphic design student

SavannahMcNultyThe Digital Signage Federation (DSF) has awarded the 2016 Geri Wolff Scholarship to Savannah McNulty, a third-year student majoring in graphic design at Georgia’s Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD).

Established in 2014, the scholarship is named for DSF’s director of marketing and communications and is intended to raise awareness of digital signage as a career choice for young women in computer science and related fields.

“The award is also intended to help ensure a talented, qualified and diverse labour pool for our fast-growing industry,” says Wolff.

“I am eager to learn more about the practical applications of graphic design in the medium of digital signage,” says McNulty. “The content of signs should generate ideas, sensations and knowledge, giving people who see them something to take away from the experience.”
