Richard Ventura, vice-president (VP) of strategy for digital screen manufacturer NEC Display Solutions, has been elected to serve a second consecutive term as chair of the Digital Signage Federation’s (DSF’s) board of directors.
Other members of the 2018 board of directors include Real Digital Media (RDM) higher-education business development manager Spencer Graham as vice-chair, Cineplex chief technology officer (CTO) Jeff Kent as secretary and Peerless-AV VP of North American sales Brian McClimans as treasurer.
Among the directors newly elected to DSF’s at-large board are two Canadians: Stephanie Gutnik, VP of business development for Montreal-based Broadsign; and Dave Haynes, market analyst and writer for Vertical Media Consulting Group in Burlington, Ont.
“DSF is setting an aggressive course to support its members and meet the collective needs of our industry,” says Ventura. “I encourage anyone wishing to serve on a committee to contact our office about their interest.”
