DSF names first educator of the year

[1]The Digital Signage Federation (DSF) has given its first Educator of the Year Award to—and named it after–one of its founders and former chairs, Alan C. Brawn, principal of Brawn Consulting.

Current DSF vice-chair Spencer Graham presented the award to Brawn last month during the Digital Signage Expo’s (DSE’s) Apex Awards ceremony in Las Vegas, Nev.

“Alan has exemplified dedication to professional teaching and sharing of knowledge, from structured instruction to thoughtful white papers,” said Graham.

The trade organization’s board of directors declared the new annual honour will hereafter be referred to as the DSF Alan C. Brawn Educator of the Year Award.
