DSF names new board

Following its annual vote, the Digital Signage Federation (DSF) recently announced its new board of directors for 2013.

Joining as chair is Philip M. Cohen (pictured), CEO of Care Media, which manages digital signage in medical specialty offices. The other directors include: Alan Brawn, former chair and principal of Brawn Consulting; vice-chair Kim Sarubbi, president and CEO of Saddle Ranch Digital, which implements digital signage and content;  and secretary/treasurer Ken Goldberg, CEO of Real Digital Media, which develops software for digital out-of-home (DOOH) networks.

Returning directors-at-large include: Brian Dusho, co-founder and CEO of Montreal-based software developer BroadSign International; Jeff Dowell, global digital signage marketing manager for 3M Optical Systems; Carre J. Dawson, director of digital signage business development for Harris Broadcast; and Jack Sullivan, media director for StarCom Worldwide.
