Eastward Sales adds printer for short-term signage

Eastward Sales, which prints short-term signage, technical blueprints and other applications in Saint John, N.B., recently installed a Vortex 4200 wide-format colour inkjet printer, supplied by The Drafting Clinic Canada.

Equipped with five Memjet printheads, the 1-m (42-in.) wide Vortex can reportedly print up to 852 m2 (9,168 sf) per hour and accommodates a variety of papers, vinyls and polymer-based substrates. It will help Eastward Sales take on more printing of posters and point-of-purchase (POP) graphics.

Founded in 1946, Eastward Sales now has plans to expand its production of economical signage. Since the installation, the company has already printed more than 39,391 m2 (424,000 sf) of graphics with the Vortex.
