Colin and Michelle Reid, Edmonton-based franchisees for Signarama, won the company’s overall achievement award and were inducted into its hall of fame during the United Franchise Group’s (UFG’s) World Expo in May. Edmonton Signarama, which opened in 2005, is the first Canadian franchise to be inducted (pictured left to right are: Michelle; UFG president and CEO Ray Titus; Colin; and Signarama president Jim Tatem). The Reids have previously won the overall achievement award in 2008 and 2010, along with Signarama’s top quality award in 2005 and membership in the company’s million-dollar circle from 2007 through 2011. To be inducted into the hall of fame, a franchisee must be in business for at least six years, reach $1 million in annual sales for two consecutive years, attend at least three national or international expos and be a current ad fund and active committee member.
