[1]Gescan Electrical, a Canadian business-to-business (B2B) supply firm, is using Charlottetown-based ScreenScape’s software platform to power a new digital signage network at its retail locations across the country.
The wholesale electrical products distributor, a division of Sonepar Canada, is running more than 60 screens in 26 stores and at its corporate head office in Calgary. It uses the digital signage network to promote product offers, profile its vendor partners and support its staff communications.
“Digital signage is a perfect fit for a business like ours,” says Wes Penrose, Gescan’s digital marketing manager. “The screens we use in our stores are very effective in influencing purchasing decisions and boosting sales for the featured vendors.”
