Energy manager honoured for reducing consumption

hejnar-copyAndrew Hejnar, energy manager for graphic film supplier 3M Canada in London, Ont., has been named one of Delta Management Group and the Clean50 organization’s newest award winners for reducing power consumption and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

Hejnar has been named to Delta’s Clean50 and Clean16 lists for 2017 in recognition of his efforts over the past two years to advance sustainability and ‘clean capitalism.’ In total, he has led initiatives and advocacy programs for 3M’s Canadian operations over the past decade.

“A culture change, energy awareness campaigns and executive support have all been critical to Andrew’s success in helping 3M Canada reduce its natural gas consumption by 10 million m3 (353,146,667 cu ft), electricity demand by 1,591 kWh and electricity consumption by 18 GWh,” says Gavin Pitchford, Delta’s CEO.
