Toronto-based Eventscape has engineered, fabricated and installed a range of signage and other design components for a high-rise condo project’s sales centre at one of the country’s busiest intersections.

The sales centre opened this spring in anticipation of Great Gulf Homes’ One Bloor mixed-use tower, which will be built on the southeast corner of Toronto’s Yonge and Bloor Streets. Eventscape provided more than 15 components, using multiple materials, to help customize the promotional space.

To create wall-based signage, black back-painted glass panels were sandblasted with lettering, which could then be backlit using light-emitting diodes (LEDs). Similarly, the One Bloor logo was integrated into the floor design.

The project also involved digital signage technologies, including 20 liquid crystal displays (LCDs) and custom-designed 4.3-m (14-ft) long Apple iPad holders.
