Execs move up in elevator digital signage business

Harris Hwang

Captivate, which operates a digital out-of-home (DOOH) network in office buildings’ elevators and lobbies, has promoted Harris Hwang to chief financial officer (CFO) and Scott Marsden to chief marketing officer (CMO).

Hwang has more than 20 years’ experience in finance and leadership, including stints with Merrill Lynch and Getty Images. He was most recently Captivate’s executive vice-president (EVP) of strategic planning and corporate development and will now oversee mergers and acquisitions (M&A), accounting, investor relations and business analytics.

Marsden has 20 years’ experience in marketing and a proven track record of revenue growth. At Captivate, he was most recently senior VP (SVP) of marketing and research.

“Both Harris and Scott have brought a dynamic professionalism to their roles,” says Marc Kidd, CEO of Captivate. “They are strong additions to the executive team.”
