Entro, a Toronto-based environmental graphic design (EGD) firm that specializes in wayfinding sign systems, has hired Mary Newman to lead its new strategy and research services division, which will support in-house designers.

Designated as a Certified Marketing Research Professional (CMRP), Newman has more than 25 years’ experience in research and strategy development and has helped develop brands for transportation systems, municipal governments, sports and entertainment venues, cultural organizations, health-care facilities and public spaces.

In her new role, she will support Entro’s designers at three key phases in each project’s development: input to design; proof-of-concept; and post-implementation.
