A FastSigns franchise in Toronto’s Scarborough area has installed a Designjet L26500 printer from HP Canada to keep up with customer demand.
“Since opening in 2007, we’ve had continuous sales growth,” explains Craig Gibbs, franchisee. “Our projected sales demanded another printer. We already owned one Designjet and were extremely pleased with the quality, so it made sense to purchase another. We also reached out to our FastSigns network to find out what was working best. A franchisee in Mississauga, Ont., recommended the L26500.”
FastSigns Scarborough specializes in wide-format digital printing of graphics for trade shows, new construction projects, hospitals and universities. With the new printer, it is expanding its variety of substrates, including textiles, vinyl, paper, films and uncoated materials.
“The L26500 has increased our centre’s capacity and we’re much more responsive to our customers’ needs,” says Gibbs. “Prints are immediately dry, for example, which allows us to either install or laminate the product right away. This has shortened the time it takes for us to receive a request and deliver a completed project.”
