[1]Next week, up to 36 sign industry professionals from around the globe will compete to be named world wrap master at the 2015 Federation of European Screen Printers Associations (FESPA) expo in Cologne, Germany.
Items to be wrapped at the global competition, sponsored by 3M and Mutoh, will include: Opel Adam city cars, famous for their small size and curvature; 2-m (6.6-ft) tall rockets; and Eva Solo vacuum jugs. After a qualifying round from May 18 to 20, the top 12 wrappers will compete in the final round from May 21 to 22 to determine the world champion.
Last year, Canada’s own Phil Aquin, a 3M-preferred installer with Winnipeg-based Adhere Graphics, was among the winners in FESPA’s team-based world wrap master event in Mexico.
