[1]The Federation of European Screen Printers Associations (FESPA) has inaugurated Yaşar Gűvenen as its 16th president. He accepts the chain of office from outgoing president and fellow FESPA board member Lascelle Barrow, who held the role since June 2013.
Gűvenen was president of FESPA’s Turkish member association from 2006 to 2008 before joining the board, where he helped develop and launch the European Sign Expo, as well as exhibitions outside the organization’s Western European base, particularly FESPA Eurasia in Istanbul, Turkey.
As president, he chairs the board and the general assembly for 37 member associations around the world. He will focus on reinvesting funds through the Profit for Purpose program for the benefit of the global community of printing companies.
“Our mission is to ensure our global reach and continued commercial success drive sustained growth and development for the print community,” he says.
