The International Sign Association (ISA) Elite program, which provides education and networking to the next generation of sign and graphics professionals, has welcomed five new participants from across Canada.
The class of 2018 includes: Taylor Blanchett-O’Donnell, client support specialist and health and safety officer for Blanchett Neon in Edmonton; Emily Butko, graphic designer and marketing manager for Signature Sign & Image in Niagara Falls, Ont.; Matthew Lavery, paint specialist for Spectra Advertising in Concord, Ont.; Dario Giansante, regional sales manager for Global Lux in Lachine, Que.; and Greg Leamon, owner of Leamon Signs in Mount Pearl, N.L.
They will attend ISA’s International Sign Expo this week in Orlando, Fla., where they will connect with their U.S.-based ‘classmates,’ previous cohorts and ISA’s board of directors, attend educational sessions and visit the trade show floor. This fall, they will gather again for a leadership retreat at ISA’s offices in Alexandria, Va.
