[1]Ron Shepard, vice-president (VP) of customer support for Inca Digital in North America, is leading change in how the flatbed inkjet printer manufacturer works with Fujifilm North America’s graphic systems division to serve customers in Canada.
Shepard joined Inca in 2014 after serving as director of sales and marketing for Heidelberg America and national in-plant specialist for HP Indigo America. Following the rollout of a new joint service support program between Inca and Fujifilm for the Canadian market, he now oversees first-line support for all users of their Onset printers in Canada. Part of this effort will involve significantly increasing Inca’s parts inventory in the U.S., to reduce reliance on express international shipments from the company’s headquarters (HQ) in the U.K.
“The growing demand for service is driving a need for continuous improvement,” he says. “After a thorough training program in the U.K., I feel I am ready to go engage our customers to ensure their future success.”
