For the second year in a row, two flexible NanoLumens digital signage displays were used to display live video for Ontario’s Remembrance Day ceremony in downtown Toronto.
The ceremony took place on November 11 at the Ontario Veterans Memorial, a 30-m (98 ft) granite wall at Queen’s Park, the seat of the provincial government, and featured a speech by Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty. NanoLumens’ exclusive Canadian distributor, APG Displays, provided the pair of 2.8-m (112-in.) NanoFlex displays for the event, through trade partner Mediaco.
“Everyone from Mediaco to the ceremony attendees absolutely loved the NanoFlex displays last year, so it only made sense that we would provide the same solution for the 2012 ceremony,” says David Weatherhead, vice-president (VP) of APG. “The displays can be set up and taken down quickly and make it possible for the entire crowd to see everything take place up front.”
“We’re happy to have our technology used for this ceremony and hope to be asked back in 2013!” says Josh Byrd, NanoLumens’ director of marketing.
