fort1[1]Pattison Outdoor Advertising has been named the official out-of-home (OOH) ad supplier to Fort McMurray International Airport in Wood Buffalo, Alta., which is reportedly Canada’s fastest-growing airport.

The partnership coincides with the opening of a new 15,000-m2 (161,459-sf) air terminal building (ATB). Pattison explains more than 60 per cent of its OOH signs at the airport will be digital, including flight information displays (FIDs) adjacent to advertising and 0.9 x 0.9-m (3 x 3-ft) wall matrix displays.

“This partnership will provide communications with 1.5 million passengers annually for advertisers,” says Brian de Ruiter, Pattison’s prairie region vice-president (VP) and general manager (GM). “Combining digital OOH (DOOH) and traditional OOH for a campaign will create a compelling value proposition and reach customers during extended dwell times.”
