Vancouver-based Solara360 has assisted its 12th franchisee in completing installation of its advertising-based digital signage system, which uses Keywest Technology’s MediaZone Pro media players and software.
Solara360 is building a franchised digital signage network in sports bars across North America with turnkey packages, which include high-definition televisions (HDTVs), media players and signal distribution technology. Each franchisee buys a territory with 10 bars and equips them with the proprietary display systems. Local ad content appears in an L-shaped on-screen graphic bordering the bars’ HD sports programming.
The business concept is to make digital signage more straightforward to implement, with minimal on-premise interaction. The MediaZone players were chosen for these reasons, as they are reportedly easy to install and can be updated with new content and playlists over an Internet connection.
“We are excited to be an integral part of the rollout of this innovative ad network,” says Nick Nichols, president of Keywest.
